Help Us Spread the Word:
LGBTQ+ Parents Needed
One of our co-founders, Olivia Scobie (she/her), has been diving into her PhD at York University.
Her research focuses on the experiences of LGBTQ+ parents who’ve gone through birth trauma or reproductive trauma, and she needs your help spreading the word.
If you or someone you know fits the following, Olivia would love to hear from you:
- ✔️ Identifies as lesbian, gay, bisexual, Two-Spirit, transgender, nonbinary, and/or queer.
- ✔️ Gave birth in Canada within the last three years.
- ✔️ Experienced a traumatic birth or reproductive event.
- ✔️ Is willing to chat one-on-one on Zoom about their experience.
- Is over the age of 18.
Participants will receive $50 for their time.
Download the ethics-approved flyer with all the details. Please share it widely with your networks to help us reach as many LGBTQ+ parents as possible.
Every story shared contributes to building a deeper understanding of how to improve care for LGBTQ+ parents, so your help is truly impactful.
Questions? You can email Olivia directly at oscobie@yorku.ca.
Thank you for being part of this important work!
